What to Expect
We know visiting a new church for the first time can be intimidating. We want to make sure you feel welcome, comfortable, and loved when you come visit us. Here's a few commonly asked questions about The Fountain experience.
1. WHO ARE WE?
We are a church that loves Jesus, loves people, and loves our community. We are passionate about helping people become fully devoted followers of Christ.
2. WHEN AND WHERE?
We have two worship services each Sunday at 9:45 AM and 11:45 AM each only 75 minutes long. We are located at 4601 NW 167th Street, Miami Gardens, FL. 47th and the Palmetto (826).
3. IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Nope. Come in whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Some dress in sweats and shorts and others dress in suits. Just come!
4. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?
From the moment you first arrive, it’s our goal to make you feel at home. Someone from our First Impression team will meet you at the entrance with a smile and ready to answer any questions you might have. From there you can check your kids in, or head right into the worship service. Our services start right on time, so come early to get a great seat!
5. SPEAKING OF KIDS, WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR MY KIDS?
We were hoping you would ask! We have a safe and fun environment for kids of all ages. Our Spring Children’s services are tailored for children Pre-K to 5th grade. Our HYDRO Teen services include fun, short lesson, and small group time for kids in middle school and high school.
We even have reserved an infant room for children six months and younger to join you during the service. Parents tell us all the time that their kids love coming to The Fountain each weekend!
6. WHAT IS THE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE LIKE?
Our experiences are meaningful, creative and spiritually engaging. Each experience kicks off with a time of live worship music - which is often a blend of live energetic contemporary gospel and traditional gospel that has our guests standing. People tell us all the time we are blessed with an amazing worship team – we agree. During that time we also pause to pray and give back to God.
Then, our pastor shares a biblically-centered message that's always honest and challenging, empowering you to apply Jesus' words to your daily life. We like to end our teaching time with a few minutes of prayer. Then, we wrap up the experience with a few closing announcements. The service last only 75 minutes--1 hour and 15 minutes.
7. WHAT DO I DO WHEN I FIRST ARRIVE THIS WEEKEND?
If you decide to visit us this weekend, please make sure to stop by the Guest Welcome table or simply let one of the volunteers at the door know it is your first time with us. We'd love to help you and your family get situated.
We hope to see you at The Fountain soon!
